The Iosco County Humane Society
The Iosco Animal Shelter is managed by the Iosco County Humane Society. The purpose of the Iosco County Humane Society is to aid and assist the Isoco County Animal Shelter by providing volunteer services that will benefit the animal and residents of Iosco County, through adoption service, rescues, and caring for stray animals. The Animal Shelter and Humane Society gives them the love, comfort and the nourishment they need, until they can find a place they can call "Home". The Human Society sponsors fund raisers and food drives to help keep the animal shelter open and running. As the Humane Society, we provide the time and effort it takes to keep the animals of our county safe, happy and healthy. "Please Help Us, Help Them"
The purpose of the endowment fund is to fund the Animal Shelter to keep it in good working order and to keep the animals in it safe.
The Iosco County Humane Society exists to provide a safe haven for stray and/or unwanted pets to have a chance to find loving homes. We also educate the community on the importance of spaying and neutering of their animals. The Humane Society works with the local police to rescue injured, abandoned or neglected animals.
